Been listening to Phantogram’s two new singles repeatedly for the past week basically. Seriously one of the most electrifyingly chill bands. Check them out on Soundcloud here. Pulled this look together on a whim. I finally found the most perfect pair of blue jeans ever I’m proud to say, in the form of these G-Star RAW Arc 3D Tapered skinnies. This style has twisted seams and inseams to create an asymmetric fit that turns around the leg. This architecturally inspired pant, cut using paper patterns that create depth and volume, is unique to G-Star. What I love most about the fit of these skinnies is the way that it hangs a tad slouchy below the waist, and it still looks super slimming. Baggy in all the right places. Not many denim companies have mastered this yet. Great job G-Star! paired it with one of my favorite graphic tanks from my babes at Lovers + Friends!

Just finished up a long day shooting some look book images for Modern Vice with Natalie and our friend Mirella who was our model for the day! Natalie and I both styled the shoot. The images we got were STUNNING and I cannot wait to share!
Eeeppp! Got super excited to see all the maxi lengths featured in the upcoming October Free People catalog, shot in Tokyo, one of my dream destinations! I remember I was still working at the company when the catalog team traveled to Tokyo for this. Le sigh. Someday I will get to experience this city, too! What I’m dying over the most? That earthy, tapestry patterned long coat in the last picture. It’s absolutely fantastic, words cannot even describe. Looking forward to seeing the entire catalog, out on Monday. Make sure to check it out on the Free People website! I have a fun little collab coming up soon with Free People that I will be letting you all know about soon! xo
Wahooooo. NYFW posts are done and on to some new content, some still leftover from summer but whatever. I’m officially 26. And I’m also officially no longer have any inch of summertime sadness lingering in my brain. Fall mode is fully in gear and I feel absolutely fantastic about it. Work has been really busy, but I have my hands in so much and I love this freedom. Model castings. Creative direction. Product placements. Social media pitches. SEO. I’ve been learning so much at my new company Adore Me, it really has been quite the ride. Sometimes I’m just running around the city on errands for work and I just look up at the gorgeous buildings around Bryant Park or Grand Central Station, and I’m like wow this is insane. I live here. This all here. This is mine. I never get over the epic-ness of it all. I’m such a dreamer and such a kid, so these silly feelings never get old. I’ve dreamed of moving to NYC ever since I was in junior high school. I had this picture of what it would be like in my head and nothing yet has even come close to bursting my bubble. Hello, I met Josh Duhamel last night. I’ve gotten to know so many great people in the past two months and something of living here (I can’t believe it’s only been that short of a time), and that really is my favorite part of this place. The new connections I make with those who I feel confident to be myself and to push myself just a little bit further. I think that NYC has finally put me in my element and there’s nothing I can say bad about that. Really there’s not.
The other amazing thing about NYC? The fashion I see on the street on the daily. Personal style is fully embraced in this city and I never second guess myself anymore when it comes to what I decide to wear in the morning. I wear what I love. Itty bitty jumpers and all.

YES! NYFW SS14 Day Six! I had shows for day seven, but my body physically hit its exhaustion point, and work was getting overwhelming so I had to get back to the office to start organizing my content and other everyday stuff. Never before have I been so wiped out and at the same time so invigorated by an experience before! But the tiredness was all well worth it. Catching subways and cabs uptown and downtown all day. Running between appointments. Meeting up with old and new friends. Trying to fit in a quick meal or two. Fitting in a moment to just stop and relax. It was a full six days of nonstop work, but I loved every second of it, and felt so thankful that my day job allowed me to be there, as well as for my blog. It felt super rewarding! Highlight of day 6? The Alon Livne show! A new Israeli designer with major talent!
