2020 was my year of really trying to organize life, and that comes with cleaning out and freshening up my closet. The idea was less is more. This is where sustainability comes into play. For 2021 I want to continue my commitment to shopping more sustainably for my wardrobe. I came across Tradesy, the luxury fashion resale marketplace last year, and I found it to be my new go-to shopping destination because of its versatile showcase of second-hand designer pieces that are meant to last a lifetime, and its authenticity promise which is #1 for me when shopping second hand designer. I searched “Vintage Chanel medium bag” and found an extensive variety of styles that was so much fun to look through. I narrowed this search down by color, and I was super impressed by not only the classic styles that I could choose from, but also the super unique and very rare styles. Below are some of the styles that I came across that caught my eye. I was very much interested in finding a vintage Chanel bag in a blue color, but after taking a deeper look, there was so much more beyond this color that I felt myself drawn to. They also offer fair and simple returns and most items can be returned for a site credit that can be used towards something you truly love. This takes away the pressure that usually comes along with designer / investment shopping, and it’s a very nice feeling indeed when that pressure is not there.
