Photo Shoot | Confidence and Peace

September 28, 2015

Part 2 of my shoot with model Casilda. With these images I wanted to capture a both confidence and peacefulness, which are both things found in nature. The confidence of a woman in striking lingerie (or nothing at all) and standout accessories, all shot up against a natural backdrop. I love the subtle contrast.
Model: Casilda at Fenton Moon
Styling/Jewelry: Sabrina Sun

Photo Shoot | Sweet Sea

September 21, 2015

Summer is ending soon, but that doesn’t mean that it still won’t live on in my heart. This is a shoot I photographed this summer. We were out on the river in a park right near the bridge in New Jersey. But you would never know. Incorporating water into my shoots is one of my favorite things. It’s always so peaceful feeling. Our beautiful model Casilda, new to the modeling scene and signed with Fenton Moon, was such a natural in front of the camera. It was such a pleasure to shoot this fresh face, and she has even made some appearances during NYFW 🙂 Andrea Hans gave Casilda the best messy bed head one can have. And my dear friend Sabrina Sun styled, as well as accessorized the shoot with her own jewelry line. I love shooting models in their most natural state. The more bare faced the better. The more raw and real and imperfectly perfect. Part 2 of this shoot coming soon 🙂

Photo Shoot | Entropy Jewelry

August 10, 2015

The result of a shoot I collaborated on with my friends for Entropy Jewelry. My friends Jana, Brigette and Melissa drove upstate towards the Catskills and found a little woodsy area near a lake to shoot some gorgeous, natural and a little mysterious photos for Entropy. It was an overcast day that seemed like it was going to start raining any second, but we made the most of the soft light that we did have. It’s the best being able to work with friends on projects like this. Where we can be ourselves and just get creative. It’s like playing dress up as kids, only this time it’s real life. Can’t get any better than that right?
Come check out the rest of the pictures from the shoot HERE. The one’s posted on the blog are some of my favorite shots that I took of Melissa that one fine day. Isn’t she such a natural beauty?
