Wabi-Sabi

Romanticism on the streets of Dumbo. I love the idea of impermanence and Japanese wabi-sabi behind this Aje dress. This idea is what has drawn me to NYC, and Brooklyn in particularly. A city that is in an endlessly transient state. We are in the middle of a huge change of current right in this moment. There’s no better example of accepting change, and seeking newness in old, than what this city projects. NYC will never lose its spunk, its personality, its diverse heritage. It’s just in the middle of creating a new story to throw into the mix.
