SEDONA, ARIZONA

January 22, 2022

Sedona, Arizona, September 2021

I don’t think many things compare to the outline of mountains in the distance during sundown. Art created by Mother Nature. I like to call it a purposeful accident. Every soft curve. Every sharp crevice. The differences in shading and tone. The feeling of being light years away but at reach all at the same time. It gives me such a good feeling to know this exists for us all to see and find a way to be one with.

I felt so lucky to have woken up next to my love and surrounded by nature on my birthday last year. Still crazy to think this was all last year. I’m not one to care about doing something extra for my birthday, but this trip was one for the books; so stand out in every way. This week really kept me in the present. It solidified my appreciation for each moment for what it is. Just feeling that connection with rough dirt beneath my feet with every climb sums up what I came here for. And I laughed so many deep laughs this week. Getting older, wiser, more free and more grateful each day.

New Year Splash 2022

January 10, 2022

No New Year’s resolutions for me, other than to just keep on living life with an open heart and an open mind and without too much of a plan. I know this sounds cliché, but I really am looking forward to continuing to take each moment as it comes, because it’s actually easier said than done (trust me, I know too much) but working towards this way of thinking has always been worth it. The present moment is so precious and I’ll keep reminding myself to not forget that. Still, Happy New Year! I’m looking forward to 2022 and a sense of reset to carry on for the days to come. And for those who are still overcoming from the lows of the past year, I wish with all my heart that this next year will bring you healing and peace.

On My Feet: Franco Sarto

November 13, 2021

Franco Sarto is a shoe brand that believes in the art of everything which is so in line with my own personal creative outlook. With every step I take in a pair of Franco Sartos I know that I am paving a new path of my own personal story. The brand is all about heritage, timeless quality, a sustainable mindset, and an eco-conscious approach to production. And the fact that comfort is key (hence, the inFORMA comfort technology that makes all the difference). I feel like so many parts of my personality come out with each pair of Franco Sarto shoes, and that’s the most interesting thing of all. I can be confident in a vintage power suit and the Milano slingback pumps, or I can throw back to decades before me and touch on notes of punk with the Fera over-the-knee boots. I can bring to life all of my inspirations with each look, and what I wear on my feet is an integral part to that.

Black and White NYC on Film

November 7, 2021

Black and white film moments. Every single day I write down a line or two about what stood out to me that day, and I always find myself writing down more than I intended to. Really, there aren’t enough words to describe the feeling behind certain moments, even the littlest moments, in this one life we live. Every single one holds importance. And I’ll keep writing about them and capturing them on my film camera to remember later. 🎞📸
